Things I would definitely buy again, being a first time mom

Hi friends! I hope everyone is doing well these days!

I thought I’d share some of the items I have found truly useful being a first time mom, and what any parent should buy, rather than the unnecessary things people tell you to buy. I have found somethings I have bought, I haven’t even touched, and some I use everyday.

I have my amazon affiliates links listed below, but I sincerely bought all these items myself and am not sponsored by anyone as of yet. I wouldn’t be recommending something that I wouldn’t swear by using. My friend actually told me I really needed an affiliates code, because of how many things I recommend, so I finally got one 🙂

Each link and photo does have my affiliate link to each item. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. Of course there’s no obligation to use my code, but I would super appreciate you if you did! 🙂

Happy shopping y’all! And hope these items help your time being a parent to your wonderful children a little easier 🙂 I’ll keep adding more things as I find them!

We give our daughter medicine daily for a condition she has, directed by her doctor. We struggled with her spitting it back out and a very unpleasant experience, by her terms. This pacifier has CHANGED THE GAME for me and my husband. No struggle, no mess, and she doesn’t even notice at feeding time. Such a wonderful invention.

These are the bottles we like 🙂 We do use the plastic, because I’m afraid of breaking the glass ones, and they are lightweight.

Fun fact: Bottles come with different nipple flows (from fast to slow)…took me and my husband a little while to figure this one out, so let me save you some time 🙂 The Phillips Avent bottles are great and we love them, but they all come with a standard flow 2 nipple. We noticed at feeding time, our daughter would be struggling to drink without drinking too fast and formula was going everywhere. You can get slower/faster nipples based on your child’s needs….You’re welcome 😉 lol

My friend got us this bottle rack and said his sister loved it. I totally agree! Doesn’t take up a lot of space on the counter and it’s easy to clean. Love it!

This is so much better than trying to clip your newborn’s nails! Let me tell ya, the talons on my daughter, YEESH! I was so worried about clipping too short and accidentally nicking her, so the nail file is so much better. Its safer, faster, and super easy. I love that it comes with a super soft nail file, that’ll keep her safe too.

People told me “You’ll never use the warmer,”…”It’ll dry out the wipes.”…I’m gonna say it…I love this thing! It has a nightlight on it, which is a super cool feature, and baby girl loves not having a super cold wipe during changes. She’s ok with changes with normal wipes when we’re out and about, but for those night changes, this is super nice.

We actually have both of these, since we received both of them as gifts. The Momcozy pillow is a lot softer, which is good for bedtime for baby to get comfortable, while the Boppy is a firmer pillow. I keep the Momcozy pillow in our bedroom for bedtime, and use the Boppy during the day. But don’t worry, baby girl still falls asleep in the Boppy just as much as the Momcozy one. I also do like that the Momcozy pillow has a strap, and while not in use, I use the strap to hang it on the back of our bedroom door to keep it out of the way during the day.

Those bulb syringes the hospital gives you…GARBAGE… at least mine were. I know those do well for suctioning baby’s mouths, however I find they don’t do anything for the nose! This one works so much better, and way easier to clean. I don’t even know how you can clean the other bulb ones and visibly see it’s clean in there. The Haakaa one is clear and you can take it apart to clean.

This chair enables you to give your bath a bath in your sink, instead of having to bend over for bath time in the tub. While she’s still little and fits, I plan on bathing baby girl in the sink for as long as I can to save my back! lol It also folds up super compact for storage while not in use, and the cover comes off for easy cleaning. Just throw the cover in the normal laundry, super easy!

Speaking of bath time, I love this. You can really just use a spare cup, so you don’t need this. But I do like the rain spout for newborns 🙂

I was wondering how I was going to push a stroller and a grocery cart at the same time. Now we don’t have to! I thought this was super cool and bought it immediately!

I plan on also sharing a must-have pregnancy list, delivery room list, nursery list, travel list and keep adding more as I find more treasures to share! Feel free to send requests for recommendations, and I’ll see what I can find for y’all! Thanks for dropping by, hope I could help! 🙂
