I’m not going to lie to y’all…my husband and I DID NOT have our nursery ready before the baby came… We waited until she was here to make our final purchases. Don’t worry, we had a safe place for baby to sleep, eat and play, but we didn’t have the big pieces until later. We wanted to see what we’d actually need and use before buying the things we weren’t sure about. This is what we ended up buying from Amazon based on what we needed.
Each link and photo does have my affiliate link to each item. Of course there’s no obligation to use my code, but I would super appreciate you if you did! 🙂
I’m listing the bassinet again in this post, because it’s that great! I also re-linked the wheels, incase those are needed too. Something I didn’t mention in my other post is that the sides are mesh, and you can see baby through them, which is a nice feature. Here are the wheels I suggest changing out the original wheels with:
We got these wheels, and they’re super quiet and glide a lot better than the plastic wheels that came with the bassinet. I will say, they are a tight fit, but they can go on. Watch out for your toes though, less forgiving if you stub your toe on them than the original wheels.
My husband and I love this changing table. A huge factor is the height of the table. It’s tall enough where a 6’1″ man and a 5’5″ woman can both change a baby comfortably with no back pain from leaning over. Love the storage drawers and we keep our diaper pail in the cabinet door. The Ubbi diaper pail fits perfectly. Keep in mind that the changing pad does not come with the table, and you will have to find one you like separately, like the one below:
We got lucky with this purchase! We definitely got this before we picked a changing table and we’re so lucky it fits! It’s super soft and our girl loves it. I will say the cover is not waterproof, so I recommend a waterproof bassinet cover sheet on top for easy clean up.
These covers make it super easy to change out when accidents happen. I keep these in the bassinet, and on the changing pad and just switch them out for fresh clean surfaces. I bought two sets for a total of four, so we’d have to do laundry less often. These also come in multiple colors. These covers come in the crib mattress sizes too (don’t worry, I linked those for you too).
Can we just take a second to appreciate how pretty this crib is? Such a neutral vibe! I love that this bed can grow with her, and can eventually turn into a full size bed for when she grows up! Also, you can adjust the height of the mattress to where you don’t pull your back trying to lift baby out. My husband and father-in-law assembled this pretty quickly, and it’s such a great price! Some cribs go for over $400, and I couldn’t commit to that. This one was less than $300 and we adore it! It does not come with the mattress, so we got the one below:
This mattress fits her crib perfectly with no gaps. It’s lightweight and easy to change the sheets, while also being waterproof. I did link the covers I talked about above the crib mattress sizes. I’d recommend buying multiple so you have extras incase of midnight accidents.
These sheets…are RIDICULOUSLY soft! I want to see if they have some for adults…cause I’ll be buying them if they do. Baby girl loves them!
Nice to have a safe alternative where she can’t get her arms or legs through the slats and get caught. And it’s soooo darling! It comes in so many different colors.
The tap on/off feature of this light is what sold me. I love that you can tap it on or off super fast without having to look for a switch in the middle of the night. Also, it holds a charge and you can move it to where you need, looove that feature too! It’s dimmable, and you can change the light setting from warm to cool. I always leave ours on warm, since the light is softer.
Such a cute way to store your baby’s toys! So easy to hang up too!
These are really easy to assemble, and ADORABLE!! Perfect for baby books or fun baby trinkets to display in the nursery.
